As some of you may already know, one of our founders has recently left the business and finding the right words to say is hard!

Nick Francis, who is known to many of you, has recently stepped down from his role with us at Front Runner Events. By doing so, Nick has left a huge void that we will never fill. His efforts, passion and dedication to the business and our events over the last 13 years have been second to none.

Not having him as part of the team for 2026 and beyond seems surreal and will be unusual to say the least. He’s always been there, by our sides, at the front and behind the scenes. The first one on site, to the last one home. We haven’t just lost a member of the Front Runner family, we are losing one of our foundations.

We’d like to thank Nick publicly for his contributions in helping our events become a success they are today.

Our door will forever remain open and he will always be welcomed back, should he choose to dip his toe in the running events world again.
