It's that time of year where the January blues can hit many of us, but there are plenty of things you can do to help combat those feelings. Here are a few ways you can boost your mood and improve your health and wellbeing...

1. Reach out to a friend and meet outdoors for a 'walk and talk' or a 'run and rant' - it's a great way to get rid of any negative energy you may have.

2. Try a new routine - many people set unrealistic targets or New Year resolutions, so instead, bring it back to basics. Try changing up your morning routine - maybe have a smoothie for breakfast instead of your normal tea and toast.

3. Aim to get some extra sleep - you'll be amazed how much sleep affects your mood! Head up to bed 30-45 minutes earlier than normal and try reading a book to send you off to the land of nod.
